This is an at grade station with 3 tracks. This design was based on the concept of the rising sun as this was the eastern most station to begin with. The form of the station is part of a segmental arc and when seen from a distance looks like it is arising out of the ground.

The entry to the station is at the upper level and after ticketing the passenger would descend to the platform level which is at the ground level.
